ORIGIN
Founded in 1988, we were established 30 years ago by an Act of Parliament & were given the overarching mandate to promote & regulate the accountancy profession in Sierra Leone in order to ensure integrity, objectivity, independence, confidentiality & professionalism in the practice of the profession. We strive to promote & maintain the highest set of standards of skill, competence & professionalism in our members and students alike.
TODAY
Developed & trained hundreds of accountants & accounting technicians who are in very strategic positions in both private & public sectors through our partnership with ACCA UK.. We have made tremendous contributions to the Human Resources Development in the country. We are a participating member of the association of Accountancy Bodies in West Africa (ABWA) & we are a member of a series of International and Regional accounting bodies.
